Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO will be released in France on October 5 at the cinema

 Crunchyroll and Toei Animation today revealed the release date for Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO. The film will be released in cinemas everywhere in France on October 5, 2022 in VF and VOSTFR with the usual voices of the series. It will also be distributed in more than 60 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The film benefits from the commitment of the original creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama. Very involved, the legendary mangaka is at the origin of the story, the scenario and the design of the characters of the project. The realization is ensured by Tetsurô Kodama and the production of the animation by Toei Animation.

Miyu Irino (Haku in Spirited Away) will play the new character of Dr. Hedo, while Hiroshi Kamiya (Rivaille in Attack on Titan) and Mamoru Miyano (Light in Death Note) will play the roles of the new characters Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

The movie follows the anime series Dragon Ball Super and the events of the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly released in 2018 around the world. The film earned more than 112.5 million euros at the worldwide box office.

The Dragon Ball phenomenon began in 1984, when Akira Toriyama's famous manga was first published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, becoming a top title during its ten and a half years of publication. Since then, the success of the manga has continued to grow, with an incredible record of 260 million copies sold worldwide. With the ever-increasing popularity of Dragon Ball, the saga has expanded beyond manga to include anime series, movies, games, and merchandise.
